The 31st Edition of Casacor São Paulo 2017

The 31st edition of the CASACOR São Paulo 2017 was open to the public until July 23, showcasing the very best in architecture, interior design, decoration, and landscaping. The event featured 71 unique environments inside the iconic and historic building of the São Paulo Jockey Club.

The 2017 theme, “Focus on the Essentials,” was created to highlight the elements that truly contribute to living well. The concept inspired spaces designed to bring comfort, functionality, and connection to everyday life for both professionals and visitors. The exhibition included lofts, lounges, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the Chef’s House, a dedicated gastronomy space hosting events, workshops, and meetings with renowned chefs.

Bárbara Jalles, architect and interior designer, was among the highly qualified professionals participating in the event. She created an interactive living room designed to combine three different functions within a single environment: work, leisure, and relaxation.

“Unlike what used to happen in the past, when the living room was rarely used, today it has become one of the most important spaces inside a home. It is where we find synergy between different daily activities,” says Bárbara.
