PLYWOOD

Veneer Core Plywood is a versatile and reliable substrate that combines attractive surface appearance with superior performance. Known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, it offers dimensional stability and durability, making it a preferred choice for a wide range of woodworking and design applications.

Veneer cores are constructed from an odd number of wood veneers, laminated with alternating grain directions to achieve the desired thickness. This cross-lamination provides enhanced strength both along and across the panel.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

  • Standard: The standard plywood option is made from multiple wood veneers, cross-laminated for strength and stability. It is made with PVA Glue, suitable for indoor applications.
  • Fire Rated: Treated for fire resistance, making it suitable for applications where building codes or safety standards require flame-retardant materials. Available in Topical Spray only.
  • Marine Grade: Specially engineered for high-moisture and marine environments, offering superior resistance to swelling and deterioration when exposed to water. It is manufactured using a Type I glue (Phenolic Glue). We stock both Marine AB and Certified BS1088.
  • Combo Ply: Combines Plywood core in the center with MDF layers on both sides combining the strength of a veneer core with the smoothness of MDF
  • Bending Ply: Flexible plywood designed for curved or radius applications
  • NAUF (No Added Urea Formaldehyde): Eco-friendly option designed to meet strict indoor air quality standards by eliminating added urea-formaldehyde resins. Commonly used in commercial interiors, educational, and healthcare environments.
  • NAF (No Added Formaldehyde): A formaldehyde-free alternative made without any added formaldehyde resins, offering the highest level of environmental safety and compliance for green building and LEED-certified projects.
